The World Health Organisation (WHO) recently declared the Coronavirus outbreak a public health emergency in international concern.

In an effort to minimise risk to our employees, sub-contractors and customers, Shackell Transport Pty Ltd has implemented the below in conjunction with advice from WHO & Department of Health to combat the risk of Coronavirus:

Wash hands frequently with soap and water for a minimum of 20 seconds. If unable to use soap and water, use hand sanitizer and then wash your hands with soap and water at the first possible opportunity.
When coughing and sneezing, cover mouth and nose with flexed elbow or tissue – discard tissue immediately into a closed bin and wash your hands as noted above.
Try to maintain social distancing of 1.5m between yourself and other people.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with your hands as you can transfer the virus from surfaces to yourself.

Any employees, contractors or customers that have travelled overseas must not visit or enter any Shackell Transport depot. As per advice issued by the Australian Government on 15th March 2020, you must self-isolate for 14 days on return of an overseas trip. Please advise the office if you have any plans to travel overseas in the coming weeks.

Symptoms of Covid-19:

  • Fever
  • Coughing
  • Sore Throat
  • Fatigue

Should you show any signs of these symptoms or have concerns that you may have come into contact with a person who has Covid-19, you must self-Isolate for 14 days.
We thank you for your cooperation. Please do not hesitate to contact Melonie Edwards on 02 66761176 should you have questions or concerns.

Kind regards,
Bob Shackell
